Sept 2014
Apple, Inc.
Cupertino, California, USA
It was a sunny day. Traffic was light and the mood of the group was great. Everybody's in high spirit because today is the day when we will be seeing, visiting, entering The Mothership". Yup! That's the Apple Campus in Cupertino, California, USA.
We are a group of educators and school leaders in the Philippines chosen to be part of the Executive briefing for Educators in Apple Inc. I am very privileged to be part of this group.
Here are some photos of our visit:
The address: One Infinite Loop, Cupertino, California
The campus is a 32 acre lot comprising 6 building. There is a new HQ being built, the Apple Campus 2.
Note: Our pictures were all taken outside because we signed a contract with Apple not to publish or post anything once we are inside the building for the Executive Briefing. True! We signed a contract. So these are the only pictures I got... plus of course, the ones inside The Company Store. :-)
This is the landmark you will see upon entering the Visitors' Parking Lot.

And now, enjoying some moments inside
The Company Store... shopping! :-)
Thank you, Apple Inc.!
Quotes to ponder from the man himself - Steve Jobs...
Sometimes when you innovate, you make mistakes. It is best to admit them quickly, and get on with improving your other innovations.
Being the richest man in the cemetery doesn't matter to me. Going to bed at night saying we've done something wonderful, that's what matters to me.
Be a yardstick of quality. Some people aren't used to an environment where excellence is expected.
Going to 1 Infinite Loop, entering the Mothership, buying at the Company Store is like entering Willie Wonka's Chocolate Factory. What truly inspired me was the fact that Apple became Apple because of Steve Jobs. He did it one day at a time, facing failures and challenges, sharing his success to a lot of people and making sure that what he did will matter in the future.
"We are here to put a dent in the universe.
Otherwise, why else even be here?" - S. Jobs
So, what's your dent gonna be?
