The next day after the beatification mass, the whole NDV community in Venasque celebrated the feast of Christ the King. The Chapel of St. Emerentiana was filled to the rafters.

Before the mass, priests made themselves available for confession. I was particularly struck by this scene. One of the official photographers of the event went to see a priest and had his confession. What great devotion! Knowing that he will be very busy covering the event, he made sure that he is also ready to receive Jesus in the Holy Eucharist.
The mass was celebrated by a hundred priests, bishops and cardinal. Our pilgrim-priests joined the celebration - Fr. Kiko and Fr. Gabo.
It was a high mass. The liturgy was solemn, the songs were appropriate to the occasion and would lift your spirit in prayer and worship.

Guess what Jenny (Yobel Gen) and I were using all throughout the duration of the mass.
Ang makahula may prize! Hehehe! All year round prayer for your intention. :-)
This is the complete Mass on the feast of Christ the King in NDV Venasque. It was a day after the beatification of Notre Pere.
After the mass, we all went for lunch. And here is Bishop Bernard Cortez of the Prelature of Infanta leading us to "a la table". Bishop Cortez was my Christology professor when I was studying in Mother of Life Center.
Before the transfer and veneration of the relics, I got to see some friends again, all of them are members of the NDV community.
Here is Fr. Reynaldo Hayag who is now the Vicar General of the Diocese of San Pablo.
And here is my very good friend, Laurence Perrier. We have been friends for almost 20 years! And this is our third encounter already in Venasque.
Rencontrez ma soeur... Meet my sister...
Magkamukha kami, di ba? :-)

At 2:30 in the afternoon, the transfer and veneration of the relics started from the Chapel of St. Emerentiana then went on procession around the compound. The relics were installed inside the small Chapel of Notre Dame de Vie.

Our hearts are full!
We thank the Lord for the gift of Notre Pere.
Now, he is beatified. We have an intercessor for all of us pilgrims who flew all the way from Asia to Europe.
Gratitude to God
Intercessor in heaven
A dear priest to all
