From the website of Sainte-Garde:
"An open house ...
at the service of the Church and the whole world"
In the heart of Provence, at the foot of Mont Ventoux, a remarkable site listed as a historic monument, in the heart of a large park, relaxation areas in a relaxing nature, near the typical Provencal village of Saint-Didier, Our Lady of Sainte-Garde is a place dedicated from the very beginning to
the service of man and society.
The rehabilitation of Sainte-Garde was carried out by
the Notre-Dame de Vie Institute, founded by
Blessed Father Marie-Eugène de l'Enfant-Jésus.
It is part of the perspective of welcoming a large
audience for times of formation and resourcing,
reflections and exchanges, on the major spiritual
issues of man and contemporary society.
"I DREAM FOR YOUR HOLY GUARD OF
A SCHOOL OF SPIRITUALITY,
WITH A STRONG SPIRITUAL LIFE ...
AN OPEN HOUSE FOR A THEOLOGICAL,
BIBLICAL, PRACTICAL TRAINING ...
AT THE SERVICE OF THE CHURCH AND THE WORLD. "
Blessed Father Marie-Eugene of the Child Jesus

The facade exudes an atmosphere of tranquility,
wisdom and holiness.
Welcome to a holy place in the heart of Provence!
Sainte-Garde is sometimes referred to as "Studium".
We were joyfully welcomed by the Filipino NDVs who flew ahead of us from the Philippines. Ang saya-saya talaga! Punong-puno ng kaligayahan dahil nagkita-kita sa Sainte-Garde.
Molians, alam nyo na kung sino itong kayakap ko... May bulong agad yan. Hahaha! (I love you, Ms Vicky Reyes!)
May sumingit! Hahaha! Ang saya lang talaga!
Peace, Fr. Kiko!
We were also welcomed by Bishop Bernard Cortez, bishop of the Prelature of Infanta and NDV Bishop.
Smiles all around courtesy of Ms. Juliet Garan (NDV Philippines Responsable General), Ms. Tess, Ate Annette and Lourdie.
May nagso-solo sa likod... hulaan nyo. Hahaha! Peace, Fr. ____!
I am so happy to be reunited with Fr. Rey Hayag (NDV priest). We were together during the World Youth Day celebration in Rome 2000. Bonjour, mon pere!
With Fr. Rey Hayag and Sister Nilda (MOLian).
The whole Philippine, Taiwan, US-Filipino delegation were welcomed by Ms Juliet Garan (NDV Philippines Responsable General) inside the chapel of Sainte-Garde.
A holy mass was celebrated presided by Bishop Bernard Cortez. It was concelebrated by the NDV Filipino priests and our pilgrim-priests.
After the mass, off we went for lunch. After lunch we were given a few minutes to explore the place a.k.a. picture taking. Hahaha!
Here are some shots with the other pilgrims.
Photos are not complete without a wacky shot!
Pardon my photos... I need to capture these moments. Hehehe!
Sainte-Garde and its view just captured my heart.
Warning: Nakakaumay... puro mukha ko ang makikita dito. Hehehe!

But this is the magnificent view from the studium. Can I just stay here and sit and reflect and...
